Terms of use

I help the patient organize a request in Turkey: collect initial documents, formulate the clinic request, send materials to a doctor or international patient department, arrange a consultation, translation, schedule, practical logistics and support in Istanbul or remotely. The scope of support depends on the specific route and is confirmed in correspondence.

The coordinator is not a doctor, does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, choose a treatment method instead of the patient and doctor, change clinic instructions or provide emergency medical care. All clinical decisions, informed consent, medical risks and treatment outcomes remain with the doctor, the clinic and the patient.

Medical services are provided by clinics, doctors and other licensed healthcare providers. The coordinator helps request information, clarify the specialist profile, schedule, estimate and documents, but is not a party to the medical agreement between the patient and the clinic. Before payment or travel, the patient may request confirmation of the clinic's license, status and treatment terms.

Unless otherwise agreed in written correspondence, the patient does not pay the coordinator for initial organizational help. All payments for consultations, diagnostics, treatment, clinic stay, translation, transfer or accommodation are made directly to the relevant providers under their terms and invoices. If a partner or agency model applies to a specific route, its terms can be clarified before payment; medical payments are based on the provider's documents and invoices.

The patient is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents they send. Translation of messages and explanation of organizational details is not a medical opinion. If an official medical translation, notarization or a separate document for insurance, court, employer or another organization is needed, this is agreed separately.

The texts on the site, including treatment descriptions, blog posts and patient reviews, are general information. They are not medical advice, do not replace an in-person or remote doctor's consultation, do not promise availability of a specific procedure and do not guarantee treatment outcomes. Results, timing, cost and the scope of tests depend on the specific case and the clinic's decision.

The site and the coordinator are not an emergency service. In case of sudden deterioration, pain, bleeding, breathing problems, loss of consciousness or another urgent situation, contact local emergency services or the nearest medical facility.

The coordinator is based in Istanbul, Turkey. The coordinator's organizational services and clinics' medical services may be governed by different rules and agreements. International medical tourism in Turkey is connected with the requirements of the Turkish Ministry of Health, HealthTürkiye, USHAŞ and the authorization system for healthcare facilities and intermediary organizations. NainaMed does not present itself as a clinic; if the status of a licensed clinic or intermediary organization matters for a specific route, it is clarified and confirmed separately before travel or payment.
